The Africa Twin just got an upgrade. It's still the amazingly agile Adventure bike it has always been – with performance to push to the limit – but with extra low-down torque for drive. A new adjustable screen makes those on-road days much more comfortable. And now with tubeless tyres that are easily repairable, it's a go anywhere manual, ready for some hardcore adventure.
The parallel-twin engine delivers 7% more torque - thanks to tuned intake and exhaust systems. Offering torque everywhere from idle to redline. You have plenty of grunt down low, and can cruise easily on the open road. The narrow layout makes the bike shorter front-to-back. That means the front wheel can tuck in closer to the engine, shortening the wheelbase, and making the bike more nimble both on and off road.

Long Travel Suspension
Front suspension is made of fully adjustable 45mm Showa inverted forks with 230mm stroke. The Pro-Link® rear suspension has 220mm of travel, and is also fully adjustable, including a convenient remote preload adjuster. This combination gives you real comfort on road, and serious capability off-road.
Selectable ABS
These bikes come with three Anti-Lock Breaking System (ABS) modes: on-road, off-road, and a mode that turns off the rear ABS system for dirt riding.
Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC)
With Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) you can dial in exactly the kind of power delivery you want for the conditions at hand. It features seven different settings (and can also be turned off) for a wide range of conditions, from pavement to fast, loose gravel roads, or even challenging trails.
Selectable Riding Modes
Pick one of the four default riding mode settings: TOUR, URBAN, GRAVEL and OFF-ROAD to cover most riding conditions and situations, or customise your own with the USER settings. In all modes (both default and user) the levels of Honda Selectable Torque Control and wheelie control can be adjusted to rider preference.
Semi-Double Cradle Frame
The semi-double cradle frame layout has been proven in countless Honda off-road bikes. The design is similar to the one used on the Rally factory Dakar race bike, a machine that’s designed to perform in the most challenging conditions.
For Every Adventure
The Africa Twin is loaded with electronics that make the ride more enjoyable and safer. No matter the route. 7-level Honda Selectable Torque Control – managed by a 6-Axis inertial measurement unit(IMU) – monitors rear wheel traction and smoothly gathers up drive on or off-road. 3-level wheelie control gives just the front wheel lift you want, while cornering ABS inspires full braking confidence. Four default riding modes, URBAN, TOUR, GRAVEL and OFF-ROAD are set ready but you can go fully custom, across all of the parameters, in USER mode.

The taller, wider screen adjusts through 5 positions for maximum forward visibility or maximum wind protection - you choose.
Standard Fit Tubeless Tyres
Sometimes, mid adventure, small details matter. 21-inch front/18-inch rear rims now wear tubeless tyres, with a revised spoke design, for easy roadside repairs.
Cruise Control
The Africa Twin is as much at home on the open road as it is on the dirt. For that extra comfort when touring, cruise control is standard, so you can just relax and enjoy the view.
